So you're wondering...

"Why am I reading this page?"

You are either laughing at how ridiculous a yurt looks, grinning because you now know you aren't the only Westerner crazy enough to want to live in one, or confused because none of the blog posts actually talk about yurts yet.

Fear not, 'yet' is the key word here. I am in college still, trying to convince the world around me [a.k.a. rationalists] that I am still sane and that post-graduation life is possible in a yurt.

So this is my journal of the process leading up to my attempt at living sustainably, in the earth God gave us. This is my life in a yurt.
